GENERAL INFORMATION
Bank, Cash Machines and Post Offices The nearest bank to SQUARE is ING Bank located at Rue Ravenstein 68 where you can find an ATM machine and foreign exchange service.
The nearest post office and a post box is close by the central station, which is located just opposite the SQUARE.
Certificate of Attendance Participating delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance in the Congress Bag.
Climate and dress code In November, Brussels has an average high temperature of 8ºC and an average low temperature of 2ºC. Rain showers may occur. For weather forecast please visit http://www.weathercity.com/be/brussels. The dress code will be informal throughout the Congress.
Cloakroom There will be a cloakroom in the registration area where clothes and bags can be stored during Meeting opening hours.
Currency The local currency in Belgium is EURO.

Electricity Electricity in Belgium is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Belgium with a device that does not accept 230 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter.
First Aid In case of need please contact Security Staff at the SQUARE (registration area and level 1).
Internet Cafe The Internet Cafe is located in the registration area.
Language The official language of the Congress is English.
Local time During the Congress, Brussels will be on Central European Time (UTC + 1 hour).
Lost and Found Please contact the registration desk in case of personal belongings being lost or found.
Meals There are several restaurants and cafeterias close by the SQUARE Brussels. For detailed information please contact the Brussels Information Booth in the registration area. Coffee Breaks as mentioned in the Scientific Programme are included in the registration fee.
Mobile Phone Policy Please respect the Congress policy and switch off mobile phones in all meeting rooms and in the poster area. Also please respect that it is not allowed to take any pictures during session in the meeting rooms.
Name Badges Your personal badge is your entrance ticket to all sessions, to the exhibition area and to social events. Please remember to always wear your badge at SQUARE. If you have lost your badge a new one can be purchased at a cost of EUR 50,00.
Parking There are 660 parking spaces directly below the SQUARE. Enter via Place de la Justice-Gerechtsplein and Stuiversstraat-rue des Sols, and then walk straight into the building.
Photographing Kindly respect that photographing in the meeting rooms is strictly forbidden.

Safety Please be aware of thieves and pickpockets. Do not carry your badge outside the SQUARE and do not give it to anybody even if you are leaving the Meeting. If you carry a laptop please keep an eye on it.
Smoking Policy In accordance with the policy of the EAACI, this is a non-smoking event.
Telephone The international access code for Belgium is 0032. The outgoing code is 00 followed by the relevant country code (e. g. 0044 for the United Kingdom). Local emergency telephone numbers are 100 (fire and ambulance) and 101(police). Alternatively call the European emergency number 112.

Visa application Please check the current visa requirements with your travel agent or local Begian Consulate/Embassy before your departure to Brussels. Please request all visa documents well in advance!
