ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Submission Guidelines
Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through this website. Acknowledgement of the receipt of your submission will be sent to the corresponding author's e-mail address immediately upon submission. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please do not submit the abstract again, instead we ask you to contact info@eaaci-eram-serin2010.com for consultancy. If you are just testing the system, make sure to write TEST in the title field.
Abstract Content
To think about:
- The abstract must be written and presented in English
- Use maximum 2500 characters (approximately 350 words) including blank steps for the abstract text
- The abstract title and the author(s) or names of institutions are not to be included in the abstract text
- The abstract title and body text should only include pharmacopeia names printed in lower case
- Non-proprietary (generic) names of drugs, written in lower case, are required at the first place a drug is mentioned
- Trade names are not allowed
- References, credits or the authors' academic degrees or grant support are not to be included in the abstract
Standard abbreviations may be employed in the text. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full wording at the first time it appears in the body of the text.
In order to make the abstract as informative as possible, please include a brief statement of the purpose of the study, the method used, the result observed, and the conclusions based upon the results. It is inadequate to state "The results will be discussed" or "The data will be presented". We kindly ask you to subtitle the paragraphs in bold format in the following order: Background, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
Abstract Presentation
Accepted abstracts selected by expert reviewers will be presented in three formats; Oral abstract sessions, Poster discussion sessions and Poster presentations. Authors should indicate in the space provided the preferred method of presentation. It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author. Abstracts will be rejected if they contain no data or if the English is unacceptable. All presenter authors will receive detailed guidelines when their abstract has been accepted.
Updates and changes in your abstract:
Changes of abstracts are only accepted until the submission deadline by using the Personal Page. You can access your Personal Page by using your access key included in the e-mail received upon submission.
Topics
You can choose if you want to submit an abstract for ERAM or for SERIN. Within ERAM the topics can be chosen liberately, for SERIN the following topics are available:
- Epidemiology of airway disease in Europe
- Phenotyping of chronic airway disease all over the world
- Nasal and sinus remodelling
- Non allergic rhinitis and polyps
- Eicosanoids - more than end products
- Chronic infection in rhinosinusitis/nasal polyps
- The superantigen story
- T-cells and dendritic cells in airway disease
- Innate immunity: PAMPs, DAMPs and others
- Genetics and epigenetics of airway diseases
Notification of Acceptance
Notification of acceptance/rejection will be e-mailed in week 40 (4-8 October). The corresponding author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract. The corresponding author is responsible for informing all authors of the status of the abstract.
Publication of Abstracts
Accepted abstracts will be published on the abstract CD ROM.
