Abstract submission Travel grants Abstract presentation instructions Abstract Oral Presentations Poster Exhibition INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATION (Oral Presentations and SERIN Symposia) The abstract presenters will hold an oral presentation for approximately 8 minutes + discussion (2 minutes). AUDIO VISUAL INFORMATION Only PowerPoint projection using computers provided by the congress may be used in the session halls. INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER POINT PRESENTATION These instructions are to ensure a successful and trouble free presentation. Please follow the instructions very carefully as given below. Only computers provided on site can be used. Please bring your presentation on a memory stick without virus to the preview room in good time, at least 2 hours before your session starts. The preview room technician will assist you with uploading your presentation to your session room. There will be no computer on the lectern in the session hall. The computer will be in the control room together with the technician. There will be a remote control on stage for advancing slides and a comfort monitor for your convenience. Only PowerPoint with version 2007 or previous running on PC's will be available. The maximum resolution for the computers and projectors will be set at 1024x768. We recommend that you only use standard Latin based fonts and symbols to avoid formatting issues for your presentation. It is advisable to include your fonts when you save your presentation. Under tools - save options mark the check box "embed True type fonts" and select "embed all character". If you use attachments, these must be saved in the same folder as your presentation. Only standard codecs are supported. Presentations should be saved as *.ppt or *.pptx - file. The standard set up does not allow for audio in your presentation.
